1. Who is responsible for your data

The website shlomiamsalem.co.il is operated by Shlomi Amsalem, a sole trader, business no. 059844639, also trading as "א.שלומי צילום והפקות". Shlomi Amsalem is the controller of the personal data collected on the site and is referred to in this policy as "we". Contact: shlomiamsalem19@gmail.com, phone +972-52-851-8478, or the contact page on the site.

2. What we collect

When you order: your name, email, phone number, shipping address, city, postcode if provided, notes, the text of a personal dedication if you choose one, and the order details.

Card details are entered only on the secure payment page of Cardcom Ltd. Your full card number never reaches us and is not stored by us. Cardcom sends us confirmation of the payment, a transaction reference and the last four digits of the card, which we keep with the order.

When you use the contact form: your name, email, the topic and your message and, if you choose, your phone number and further details such as your organisation and the place and date of an event.

For security and to run the site, we and our hosting provider also process basic technical data, such as IP addresses.

You are under no legal obligation to give us any data; providing it is voluntary and up to you. Without order details, though, we cannot process or deliver your order, and without contact details we cannot reply to you.

3. How we use your data

To process and deliver orders, send order confirmations and updates, provide customer service and answer enquiries, including institutional orders, meet legal obligations such as accounting, tax and consumer protection, keep the site secure and prevent misuse, and protect our rights in a dispute.

We use your data with the consent you give by providing it after reading this policy, and as needed to carry out the transaction you asked for and to comply with the law. We do not sell personal data, and we do not send advertising messages without your prior explicit consent.

4. Cookies and browser storage

Your shopping cart and any accessibility settings you choose are saved only in your own browser's local storage. Site staff use a login cookie for the admin area. Our hosting provider may set security cookies against malicious traffic. No analytics tools or advertising pixels, such as Google Analytics or Meta, are active on the site today. If we turn such tools on, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

5. Service providers and transfers abroad

We share data only with the parties needed to run the site, and only for these purposes: Cloudflare, for hosting and content delivery, with servers worldwide; Neon, for the database, in the cloud in the United States; Google (Gmail), where the business receives order and enquiry notifications; Cardcom, for payment processing, in Israel; Resend, for sending emails, in the USA; the delivery company, to deliver your order; and competent authorities, where the law requires it.

Some providers store or process data outside Israel. Transfers are made to provide the service, subject to Israeli law on transferring data abroad. By providing your data, you agree to this transfer.

6. Retention

Order and accounting records are kept as the law requires, generally about seven years. Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access limited to authorised staff, and payment processing through a PCI-DSS compliant provider. No system is completely secure. We will report security incidents to the authorities where the law requires it.

8. Your rights

Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you may inspect the personal data we hold about you and, if you find it inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date, ask us to correct or delete it. You may also ask us to delete data that we are not legally required to keep.

Send requests to shlomiamsalem19@gmail.com. We will respond within the time limits set by law and may ask you to confirm your identity. If a request to inspect or correct your data is refused, you may apply to the court as provided by law. You may also file a complaint with the Privacy Protection Authority.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version published on the site applies, and the date of the latest update appears at the top. We will announce material changes on the site. If the Hebrew and English versions differ, the Hebrew version prevails.
